Preparation
Read the story and identify the vocabulary that we use to speak about success and failure at work.

I had been working at EcoTech for five years before Kamala gave me my first promotion. I was very young and I had a lot to learn. I was a junior assistant and I
always missed the mark. In a moment I thought that I wouldn’t last 5 minute working there. I used to worry a lot and I would look for strategies to manage my time and get things done. Luckily, over time, things started to flow and many of my ideas got off the ground and a few of them even have bore some fruit in the company. I’ve been an executive assistant now for 9 months and so far, so good. None of the projects I’m involved in have fallen flat.
