Tebs: Hello, everyone! Welcome to our meeting for New Talents. Here at EcoTech, we like to nurture good ideas than can revolutionise the market, that are sustainable, and that help us make the world a better place.
This is Kamala, She's the CEO and Founder of EcoTech, and right from Chile, we have our new evaluating partner. They'll be in charge of evaluating and appraising our three contestants for the fund of 30,000 USD for their businesses.
Kamala: Hi everyone, welcome to today's session. Today, we have three amazing entrepreneurs with us who are eager to share their sustainable business ideas. And joining us in the discussion is Tebs, our dedicated assistant. As always, our goal is to listen to their pitches attentively and consider whether their projects align with our mission and values. After each pitch, I'll open the floor for questions and discussion. Remember, we're here to support innovative and eco-friendly initiatives. Let's get started!
Our first entrepreneur is Sarah. Sarah, please introduce yourself and tell us about your sustainable project.
Sarah: Hi everyone, my name is Sarah, and I'm passionate about reducing plastic waste. My project, "GreenPack," aims to provide eco-friendly packaging solutions for businesses. We offer compostable packaging made from plant-based materials as an alternative to single-use plastics. Our goal is to help businesses reduce their environmental footprint while maintaining product quality and affordability.
Kamala: Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your project with us. Next up, we have Alex. Alex, take it away.
Alex: Hello, everyone. My name is Alex, and I'm excited to present my project, "SolarScape." SolarScape is a community-driven initiative to install solar panels in underserved neighborhoods. Our goal is to provide clean and renewable energy to households that may not have access to traditional power sources. By harnessing solar energy, we aim to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability while empowering local communities.
Kamala: Thank you, Alex, for your inspiring pitch. And finally, we have Juan. Juan, please share your sustainable business idea with us.
Juan: Hi everyone, I'm Juan, and I'm passionate about sustainable agriculture. My project, "Harvest Harmony," focuses on implementing regenerative farming practices to restore soil health and promote biodiversity. We work closely with local farmers to transition from conventional to organic farming methods, emphasizing soil conservation and natural resource management. Our goal is to create a more resilient and sustainable food system for future generations.
