Hey there! It's been a while since we caught up, hasn't it? Well, I've got some big news to share with you. I hope you're sitting down for this one.

So, remember how I've been talking about wanting to take on new challenges and explore different opportunities? Well, it's finally happening. I've been offered an incredible job opportunity in Cape Town, and I've decided to take the plunge and move there!

- Yay! - I know, I know, it's a big change, but I'm so excited for this new chapter in my life. And of course, I couldn't leave without saying goodbye to all my amazing friends, including you. Which brings me to the main reason for this voice note: I'm throwing a farewell party before I leave, and I would absolutely love it if you could come. Mmm ...  The party will be held next Saturday, June 15th, starting at 7 p.m. at my place. I'll send you the address details separately, so keep an eye out for that.

Now, let's talk about the theme for the party. I was thinking we could go with a "Bon Voyage" theme, you know, to celebrate my new adventure. So, feel free to dress up in your favorite travel-inspired outfit or anything that makes you feel like you're ready to jet off to a new destination.

Mmm...  Oh, and I'll be serving some delicious snacks and drinks, including my famous homemade cocktails. And of course, there'll be plenty of music and laughter to go around, yay!!!

I really hope you can make it, it wouldn't be the same without you there. It's going to be a night to remember as we say goodbye to this chapter and hello to new beginnings. Mmmm... Anyway, I'll let you go now. Thanks for listening to my rambling, and I hope to see you at the party!

Hey love, hope you're doing well. So, remember how we talked about the farewell party we're hosting before we move to Cape Town? Well, I've been busy planning and I could really use your help with a few things. First off, I've put together a checklist to make sure everything runs smoothly. Let me go through it with you:

First, we need to make sure we've sent out invitations to all our friends and family. Double-check the guest list to make sure we haven't missed anyone.

I have booked the venue and have all the necessary arrangements in place. I'll take care of decorations, but if you have any ideas, feel free to share. What about food & drinks? We need to finish the menu and make sure we have enough food and drinks for everyone. I've made a shopping list for this, which I'll share with you in a moment.

Could you please plan some fun activities or games to keep everyone entertained throughout the party. Maybe we could put together a playlist of our favorite songs? I will also ask you to arrange for cleanup crew or make sure we have everything we need to tidy up after the party. I think that covers the basics, right?  Now, let me share the shopping list with you. Here's what we'll need:

So, for snacks, I think we should include: Chips, dip, nuts, and some finger foods like mini sandwiches or sliders, and for the drinks, Beer, wine, soda, and mixers for cocktails. Don't forget ice!  Ingredients for Cocktails, Vodka, rum, tequila, gin, triple sec, lemons, limes, simple syrup, and some fresh herbs like mint.

Also we'll need Disposable plates, cups, and utensils to make cleanup easier. What about Balloons, streamers, banners, and maybe some farewell-themed decorations like travel-related items? We also need Trash bags, napkins, and any other miscellaneous items we might need.

I'll text you the list as well, so you have it handy while you're out shopping. Let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything else you think we need to add to the checklist. Thanks for helping out with this, babe. I really appreciate it. Can't wait to celebrate together!!
